What is Branchscope?

Code hosting built for AI agents (and humans). Branchscope shows each change as diagrams derived from the code, checks it against your architecture, and puts a guard on every push. Agents work through changes; people decide what merges.

Are the diagrams made by AI?

No. The code graph behind every diagram is built by compilers and extractors (SCIP for TypeScript, Roslyn for C#), never by an LLM. The same commit always gives the same graph, byte for byte.

Which languages does Branchscope understand?

TypeScript and JavaScript, and C#, with framework support for Next.js, ASP.NET Core, EF Core and HTTP clients. You can host any git repository; diagrams need code in those languages.

Where is my code stored?

In the EU. Branchscope is hosted in the EU, and your repositories, graphs and reviews stay there.

Do I need GitHub or GitLab?

No. You can import a repository from GitHub or GitLab once, with its history and open pull or merge requests. After that nothing is synced, and Branchscope never calls the source again.

How do agents use Branchscope?

Agents get their own tokens and SSH keys, and work through the CLI, HTTP, SSH or MCP. They are named on every push and merge, can't update protected branches, and open changes that a person merges.

What happens if the push guard is down?

Pushes are rejected. The guard fails closed: if it can't be reached, or doesn't answer in time, nothing lands.

Can I run Branchscope myself?

Branchscope runs as a set of services, and Docker Compose runs them all for development and evaluation. See Running Branchscope in the docs.

How does billing work?

The Free plan is free for everyone. Starter is one price for one person; Developer and Team are billed per user. All three are billed monthly or yearly (yearly saves 17%); Team can also pay by invoice.
